Classification
ITC-HS codes are generated by an artificial intelligence model reasoning over the General Rules of Interpretation. The model can be confidently wrong. Verify every code against the live schedule on the DGFT and ICEGATE portals, and confirm with your customs broker, before it appears on a shipping bill, bill of entry or commercial invoice.
Duty and tax rates
Rates you enter are your own. Rates we suggest are indicative. Actual liability depends on the classification accepted by Customs, the country of origin, any applicable free trade agreement, exemption notification or anti-dumping duty in force on the date of the bill of entry, and the valuation adopted by the assessing officer.
Exchange rates
The live feed shows European Central Bank reference rates. Indian customs valuation uses the rate notified by CBIC, which differs. Your bank's buying and selling rates differ again. Use the correct rate for the correct purpose.
Costing assumptions
Freight, insurance, clearance and assessment figures are estimates until invoiced. Export incentive rates such as RoDTEP change by notification and scrip realisation depends on the market rate on the day of sale. Treat every output as a planning figure.
Liability
Chetty Exports Private Limited accepts no liability for any duty, penalty, interest, demurrage or commercial loss arising from reliance on these outputs. See our terms of use.
